Most small business websites in Dayton land between $2,500 and $7,500. Below that you are usually buying a template someone filled in. Above it you are usually buying software rather than a website, which may be exactly right, but it is a different purchase.
What we charge, so the numbers are checkable
| Tier | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| CTRL Launch | $2,500 | 3 to 5 pages, custom coded, Google Business Profile set up, live in 7 business days |
| CTRL Grow | $4,500 to $7,500 | Multi page, service area pages, quote or booking flows, review capture |
| CTRL Custom | from $10,000 | Ecommerce, multi location, dashboards, integrations |
| CTRL Keep | $147 per month | Optional. Hosting, SSL, monitoring, patches, monthly updates |
We publish these because a price you have to request is a price that changes based on what the seller thinks you can pay.
What actually moves the number
- —Page count, but far less than people expect
- —Whether anything on the site has to do a job: booking, quoting, taking payment, showing inventory
- —Whether your content exists. If we are writing the copy and sourcing the photos, that is real work
- —How many people have to approve it. Two is fine. Six is a different project
The cheaper options, priced honestly
A DIY builder is genuinely cheap in dollars and expensive in evenings. If your time is worth anything and you are not going to enjoy it, the real cost is the six months the site sits half finished.
The other cheap option is an agency that keeps the domain, hosts on its own account, and charges you monthly for access to your own business. That is not a website purchase, it is a lease, and the price of leaving is the whole thing.
When not to buy a website
If your Google Business Profile is incomplete, a new website is the second thing to fix. For a local service business the profile is often doing more work than the site, and it costs nothing to put right.
We would rather tell you that on a call than sell you a rebuild you did not need. It costs us the sale, which is the only reason the rest of what we say is worth anything.
There is one more thing worth checking before you spend anything, and it is free: whether your current site is readable by AI assistants at all. Two thirds of the Dayton sites we audited were not.
Our own ladder, what each tier includes, and what you own at the end are on the websites page.
